New Home

Well, I am completely moved into my new place. I closed the door on another chapter of my life and opened another window to my future. My new place is a two flat and has two bedrooms, a huge living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Bonus features to this place are a washer n dryer in the basement, a backyard, and garage; which I get to park in. I am on the second floor and have a great view. I need to get a couple of window air conditioner because the couple of days it was 75 + degrees it was freaking hot up there. The great news is that I get my security deposit back from my old place to get the a/c. I have an idea of what I want to do with the second bedroom but need to go to a few garage sales to get some furniture. I would like to make it a craft/reading room. I need to get a desk, some shelves, a love seat and a small t.v. I think I will put my metal lunch boxes in there too. In due time I will have it all figured out, usually things just fall into place for me. I am still close to family and friends...and Russ's. This year is turning out to be a good one so far. Oh and I finished another semester at Columbia on Monday. I am taking the summer off and fall semester doesn't start until September. So I can focus on drawing, going to the gym, and having lots of fun!
