WTF!

There are those moments in my life
When I wonder why is it all not suffice
Left turns when they should have been right
Backing down when I should fight
Settling for the mediocre
When everyone is mocking her

I have the world at my feet
But still it holds no joy
I play with my emotions
Like a broken toy
The longing passions are gone
Tomorrow's another day
So it begins as the night turns to dawn

Patience wears thin in my mind
While the world stands still
I keep running blind
I can't seem to find
The one thing to fill
The holes in my heart
and mend the person I have killed
