Summer

What is everyone doing this summer? Trying to make the transition from winter to spring to summer has been quite a tease this year. January was in the 50's then February and March was 20's or below, and April was 80's to snow mixed with rain. I am so ready for summer this year. Jesse and I have so many things planned out already plus with me moving to a bigger place where I can actually grill out is going to awesome! Let's see, April 27th we're going to see Naked Raygun then stay overnight in Chicago. May is the Des Planes river canoe marathon. We are going camping in June with a bunch of friends plus a couple weddings to go. July we are going to Point Bluff for camping and canoing. Then there is the usual local outings like Scoop The Loop, beach days, annual trip to Cali to see my mom, Jesse's annual picnic at Old School Forest Preserve, Blues Fest, Lake County Fair, and of course to end it all the Haunted House at the Lake County Fair grounds. A couple added perks this year is that Brenda is moving out on her own just a few blocks from me. She will be living in the same building with two of our other friends so we will be doing some bike riding along the North Shore Paths and to the Beach. So as you can tell I am really looking forward to this summer and can't wait for it to warm up. We're just getting started.
